Countryside

Countryside

A Poem by writer with a mind

The country side willowed with its dry air and the bugs flew and crawled on me. The south was a perfect place for me you could ride a motor fish and hunt all in the same day. We went down to the town in our pick up truck with a dead dear on the side of the road with flies and maggots eatin at its insides. We passed the freight train and it took 5 minutes to pass . The sun was glowing and raying heat onto the roads putting a reflection into my eyes . I clossed my eyes for a minute to get the heat away from burning my pupils. The old Dairy Queen we  passed had the lowest prices than the ones in Chicago. i had missed my family they were gone for the week and I was left to live life. but I was happy when  I was alone a week to myself a week to enjoy doesn't everyone need one once in a while, and I had gotten mine.

hmmm it gives the feel of a passage out of a story, rather than a poem. Makes me want to know what happened in the week alone...
