I Wish

This was my first poem when I was twelve years old. I was admitted to a Psychiatric Unit for Major Depression and that is when my love for writing came to be known!

I wish I was free

I wish I could be 

Someone like you

To be rescued too

When you walk away

I hear you say

Sorry I couldn't rescue you

Fore I had more important things to do

I wish I was free

I wish I could be

Someone like you 

To be rescued too

that's very powerful for something so short. it's more than just, "being free," it's being brought to freedom, if that makes sense. Well, i'm sure it makes sense to you, being the author and all hehe. good job!
