Time stands still

Time stands still

A Poem by Cassie Meno

What happens when your whole world goes dark

And you just want to figure it out?

But all of the answers are too hard to find,

So instead you just scram and shout.

And all the while everyone's worried about you

But you're too blind to really see

That maybe the answer is more than the turth

And one day you're going to be free.

So hang in there, just a little bit longer

It's almost over, I swear.

The night is darkest just before the sunrise

And life isn't always fair.
