unexpectedly there,

as i breathed a sigh of relief

you guided my hands

as the photo was taken,

it felt as if it was

the only two of us;

suddenly,

you hugged

from behind

i melted and savored

the warmth you gave;

the way your arms wrapped

around my neck tight,

the way i leaned on to you,

the way you chuckled;

you held my hand, interlocked,

guiding me once again

through the sandy beach,

you held onto me

so tight

as if you were afraid

that i would disappear;

neither did i want

this beautiful surreal

dream to end.
