It was a big trip for Natalie Portman as she sat down for the Sino-Foreign Film Co-production Forum at the 6th Beijing International Film Festival on Sunday.

But the actress looked utterly relaxed as she took center stage at the festival's forum, ahead of presenting a screening of her directorial debut.

The 34-year-old looked radiant in a flowing, knee-length gown as she sat onstage in a white armchair during the discussion.

The Black Swan star looked to be in good spirits while onstage, smiling throughout the Beijing Film Festival's forum.

Later on in the festival Natalie will introduce a screening of her directorial debut, A Tale of Love and Darkness.

The film is a drama that follows writer, journalist, and advocate of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict Amos Oz, based on his memoir of the same name.

Natalie makes her directorial debut with the movie, for which she also has a starring role.
