You're in my head now.

You once were in my heart.

We've been together and we've been apart.

You I can never forget.

Once you've entered the heart,

You'll always be in the head.

 

I'll never forget our time together.

It encompasses my life today, just as if

It was yesterday.

I miss all the good times

And the way you made me feel.

How attentive you were and how sincere.

 

I guess it wasn't meant to last,

But we can't live in the past.

The future we cannot see,

Or if "we will ever be."

 

The bumps in the road,

The twists and turns - Where will they lead?

Will they lead to me?

Only time will tell and we shall see.
