Flashy metal

Flashy metal

A Poem by RB
"

Greed and ignorance

"
Flashy metal,
Bright white cloth,
Billows of smoke,
Without a thought.

Internal satisfaction,
External deprivation,
Happy pocket,
For greater exultation.

Marriage to money,
Love of course,
That's life,
Without remorse.

Sacred cares,
Time of being,
Semi-detached,
Better scene.

There's a lot of imagery here and a lot being said in a short piece. The end seems rather soft or i guess detached, it just has an uneasy or abrupt feel to it. either way it is a very engaging piece that speak volumes of greed and ignorance running rampant and how it is part of every aspect of the culture.
