What Make's A Good Person?

A poem that's simply asking a deep philosophical question

What make's somebody a good person? There personality? There Soul? What exactly? I mean how do you define exactly what a good person Is? That's the question. I'm just wondering that's all.

Their personality may not always be a good indicator of what is good in a person. Perhaps, also, why is goodness a trait that is often sought of people? Could it be to the beholder a good person would be good as to avoid pain and hurt and bad? In my wondering perhaps we are in need of asking a better question. Or maybe not. It may be the cup that philosophers need to drink. Thanks for sharing and provoking thought.
