I was sleeping, pillow. Please let me get back to sleep.
listen, love, can you hear it?whispered my blanket.
Quiet, blanket. Please let me get back to sleep.
hear me, feel me, dance to me - came a whisper, that was not my pillow, nor my blanket.
A stillness hit my body, slowing down my already calm breath. Starting from the tips of my limbs, a warm tingle welcomed itself. Eyes closed, the black tableau grew wider, deeper and darker. Yet somehow, filled with every color, more than imaginable. A thousand stars made their way into my head, as well.
I think this is a very enchanting poem. You can't help but actually visualize and experience something like this every now and again. Thanks for writing this piece and keep on going. :)
Very nice use of words and thoughts. You made the reader believe.
"Hear me, feel me, dance to me - came a whisper, that was not my pillow, nor my blanket."
I liked the above lines. Thank you Sarah for sharing the amazing poetry.
