Sacred Dance

Sacred Dance

A Poem by wordsbyjhurst
"

A go at iambic pentameter.

"

You lean on me, I'm here for both of you.
Together we sway back and forth, we dance
this sacred dance as old as life itself.
We leave this place and time, it melts away.
We're home, right here, as we embrace each other.
Goddess strength, you change me.
You push, you bring our most important piece.
An Angel cries and we answer his call.
The whole world fits inside my arms, I'm whole.
The dance of life, a dance that never ends.
The Universe transcends through us, I feel it.
Love is all that matters.

I know this is not strictly iambic, and two lines are trochaic trimeter.
