Frozen

Frozen

A Poem by wordman

When we first met

your heart was frozen

but we felt a spark

Your heart started to melt and thaw

our love started to bloom

as a beautiful spring day

as the ice melted away

You reached out to me

like a vine in bloom

the warmth of my heart

melted your soul

As I nurtured you

our passion started to grow

the love melted your heart

as we became one with nature

I touched you,like the sun

touches a flowering bud

I touched your soul

and our love grew like a flowering rose...

Aww... This is so beautiful. I love the imagery. It's after a long while, I'm getting out of dark stuff. I loved this!

thank you for the visit
Absolutely love this. Sometimes I feel as though my heart is frozen... No emotion.
Then other days it's the complete opposite.. Maybe I'm crazy.
Love can either die like weeds or grow into a beautiful garden. Full of memories.

'Frozen'
wordman,
I really life the cause and effect theme within this piece.
The title gives it's voice it's beginning..something brittle
and cold..needing warming and life.
It shows the confident awareness of honest giving
and an unselfish ability to see a change in another.
As in:
'As I nurtured you
our passion started to grow
the love melted your heart
as we became one with nature'
Blessings to you Ron.
