What makes this message original & memorable is the amount of detail you included, so we could know what your memories of this first love consist of . . . high school football games, first kisses, going steady with the class ring exchange, etc. I think we remember these things more kindly than how it actually went, sometimes. But all for the good. Thanks for the reminders.
