My Rose

My Rose

A Poem by wordman
"

"

My love

she is a river

that leads

to my soul

My life

my salvation

the only woman

that I want to hold

But my rose

she went away

one frosty morning

just at the break of day

Now

my rose

she

sleeps in my soul...

JC is a very lucky person to have inspired this.

this opened with a sigh and ended with a pain in the heart... your first stanza is absolutely beautiful, Ron... wish i had written it but glad to be just able to read it... and the image of the rose living within you... pricelessly beautiful

Very nice work. It's not every day you can write a piece that brings out a troll like you have done. Very fine work indeed. We can only hope the toll fines a life that will bring them peace within their life. It's truly sad to see the misery in the world to the point that people blindly reach out to hurt others that they really know nothing about. I have not walked in your shoes and will not judge. I feel the same about trolls. Something painful happened in their life to bring them to the point of blindly lashing out at others when their own house I expect is not in order.

This is an awesome tribute of a love still carried in the soul and a perfect way to decribe it in the words & music from The Rose, sung by a special lady.
