When we first met

your heart was frozen

but we felt a spark

 

Your heart started to melt and thaw

our love started to bloom

as a beautiful spring day

as the ice melted away

 

You reached out to me

like a vine in bloom

the warmth of my heart

melted your soul

 

As I nurtured you

our passion started to grow

the love melted your heart

as we became one with nature

 

I touched you,like the sun

touches a flowering bud

I touched your soul

and our love grew like a flowering rose...

A masterful poem, sir. Truly admire how you used the seasons to show the upward trajectory of a loving relationship. Maybe relationships are cycles, too? But, we know Spring always follows Winter, and with it flowering buds and roses. Nice work.

easy flow..simply stated .. direct and emotive .. very romantic says i .. men do not usually take on the nurturing role ..especially at the start of a relationship .. so one up for men this time :) fine story telling .. inner characters defined .. love the one with nature .. an elevated love .. with a happy ending .. all good stuff for me!
