Bleed

Bleed

A Poem by wordman
"

"

Stab me slow, watch me bleed

is it my pain that you need

you stabbed me in the back

and then walked away

and here I stand still bleeding today

I don`t know why you hurt me so

I don` know why you turned so cold

you closed all doors, you return my mail

do you enjoy putting me through hell

Do you really believe those lies

you didn`t even ask me,i was surprised

do you really know me,i don`t think you do

if you did you know I`d never be untrue...

That second stanza is so raw, people get so vindictive when things go
sour:( this stanza reminds me of my ex-wife, still don't understand
why she did and continues to evil and hurtful things, I
pray for her every day, thanks for sharing and b-blessed!

thank you James, we never know what's in someone's mind
or who put it there
The old rumor being spread that makes a love life become dead the knife that stabs deep within our soul and though real blood doesn't flow hurtful emotions ooze out like a festering wound our loving memories became doomed, say that makes for a pretty good poem better remember them I pray these are made up situation you seem to kind to have this happening for real

I know how that is, I've written pieces that I wasn't sure where they came from either.
Simple but powerful! I enjoyed reading this one.

wordman, A nicely written and mournful piece that seems more tragic in that there doesn't seem to be an undercurrent of hope built in. I found myself nodding my head, thinking "yeah, I've been there before." Very nicely done. take care...dan

thank you just a rant
Such a sharp-edged poem....the price we have to pay for the entertainment of all the Nosey Parkers out there!!! But on the bright side, such incidents make us realise the true depth of relationships. A person who disappears without confronting you with the lies he/she heard about you is a person not worth keeping.
