A Silent Tear

A Silent Tear

A Poem by wordman
"

"

It seems i have fallen from your grace

i no longer see your face

so i sit to write but the words wont come

Tears roll down my face

it seems i have fallen from your grace

down trodden and all alone

no one to call upon

A deaf ear has now taken the place

of my god and his grace

though i walk through the valley of death

i do fear evil i feel alone my heart cold

and out of place

On my knees

on my face

praying to god to once

more show me his face

But not a sound

do i hear

only feel the warmth

of a single tear...

I swallow, deeply, but cannot find the words. My only comment,so shallow after reading this heart felt piece, has to do with the second stanza, last line correction-no one to call upon. As written, it made me stumble in my reading, detracting from this beautiful work.

thank you for the visit
So many cry but no one seems to notice. A smile to mask the pain. Many times have I done it. But life goes on until we meet our Creator. Beautiful and so touched my heart.

thank you for reading,i changed the music
such agony we feel when realizing how fallen we are and how much more so we can be ..its not so much terror of darkness and horrors of hell ..but the Creator God having to turn from our wickedness ... I am so thankful for the solution presented to us through the gift of God sending Jesus to show us one last time (after all the prophets) that we can trust God's love and find redemptive spiritual substance to walk towards it ... so glad i found this uplifting, honest, smooth read this morning .. puts me in a good place mentally

Tears are clensing you know, and perhaps that is the silent voice of God's grace. Touching, God, and you...
