Never Love Again

I built my life around you

now you`re gone

I don`t know what to do

I could never love again

my heart is broke

it will never mend

fifty years old all alone

now that you are gone

I have no reason to go on

I can never love again

but one day maybe I

can find a friend

Just someone to talk to

when I`m thinking of you

someone to help me make it through...

I wrote this poem last night had a feeling it was for someone
who needed a friend it`s actually about a man that lost his wife she died

What a heartbreaking write. When someone who is only 50 passes away, it is even sadder than when someone who is in their 80's passes. Everyone needs a friend to confide in and spend time with....your poem shows how compassionate you are. Lydi**

thank you Julie I didn`t know him just a job I did he is very rich and has a beautiful home on the lake her car parked under the carport and him sitting outside staring at the lake his daughters in college,this inspired the write

thanks for the visit tate we did a job for a man about 67 or so he lost his wife a few months back
he sit in the yard looking at the water the whole time we was there very rich but all alone daughters in college
