But I realize it was just part of the plan

to bring me from a boy to a man

You taught me how to give

I never knew how

And then you said goodbye

i learned that sometime ago...long ago...how a relationship can do this...

i was told i became a man when i learned to love someone more than myself...care about someone more than myself.

but that person said goodbye also..

then i learned about holding back...all part of growing up i guess..

but yes, we are taught much in and by relationships...
