Suicide

I heard the ambulance

as it flew down the road

somehow I knew it was you

deep in my soul

I didn't want to believe

but I knew it was true

you showed signs for days on end

I guess it just didn't sink in

that you would take your life

you would leave your children your wife

now what will they say

to the children at school

what will your wife say

to your mom and dad

that they would never see you again

would be so sad

so before you say good bye

give life a try

and just remember

when you pull the trigger

it`s your family that will have to remember...

I was going to say that this sounded personal. It's interesting to me how people channel their feelings with moments like these. Most people I know wouldn't write about something like this. A young lady from my church back home was just found dead in a canyon on the other side of the valley. The coroner ruled it suicide which everyone already knew anyways. Her parents haven't even really said anything to anyone since then. Thank you for sharing your feelings with us.
