This is terrific, so well written my friend! A sad situation made beautiful through your words.
This you should be proud of! Bravo! Thanks for sharing and b-blessed!
this is so sad. Romeo and Juliet is my favorite play...such a tragic, but epic love song they had together.
love can make us grow up in a hurry, especially when it does not last because of a break up or because of a death----we learn to love, and innocence bites the dust---when we love someone more than ourselves...maturity surely does come at a price.

Wordman, you wrote a beautiful, sentimental lovely piece. Love is not ever guaranteed. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, it is not meant to be. I liked your reference to the winds of time. Time blows on, regardless of our desires. Thank you for sharing this. It is very romantic and tragic.

Will, I made a note to read more of the words to Romeo and Juliet and you certainly helped. Your perception is wonderful and lively - the approach and writing beautiful. The tone/theme of always being there was inviting: there's a contest (Emily) about a line from Emily Dickinson, ...broken heart, not die in vain. That would be for you, not necessarily this poem, but certain one of yours. Anyway, seeing that beautiful face on the video made me realize one thing: I'm getting older by the second, seems like yesterday when I first watched that - oh how time flies. Thank you again for a lovely poem. Talent! Poetry 101 Tag - suppose we're still doing this.
