Do you remember me baby!

do I ever cross your mind

does your mind ever wander back

to that place in time

 

They say a hot romance

burns out fast

ahh but what a love while it lasts

a couple years pass not too long

but a lifetime of memories to look back on

 

I dream of you from time to time

and the sweet memories of you

that echo in my mind

 

I know I could have made it real

true love for you is what I could feel

I just couldn't connect the dots

 

Too many wrongs

too many rights

too many feelings for me to fight

you bought linen with my last name

and when we made love

it drove me insane

 

So please forgive me

if you will

but I just couldn't make marriage

part of the deal

 

But you will always have a place

pressed in the memories of my mind

as I dream of you

from time to time...

Remember When
wordman,
This was really a poem which portrays the reality of memories. The heart does not seem to recognize time. It just tells the mind of what love was like and the joy of knowing the person loved. Quite a poem. I liked the way it went through a cycle of time as if being replayed like a record backwards.

lord, it`s 4 pm here and snowing hard .thank you for the visit I see yes I did paid you a visit yesterday lol

Ah! snow it don't snow here just the creeks freeze over a bit, that's all we get and we call that cold...Sometime they make snow over in the eastern states to bring the tourists in. They get a bit of snow but not really anything like you get over there.

we don`t get a lot here 1 or 2 inches at the most ,about 3 times a year
but last week it was 5 degrees in march of 93 we had 60 degree weather one day and 26 inches of snow the next day power out for 11 days

11 days without power yuck! you would get a lot of reading done..LOL We do a war dance here if it is 24 hrs without power...A lot of places in the outback have only just had real power turned on in the last 20 yrs...I could've taken this comment to a whole other level but would not do that.
