Gentle on my Mind

Gentle on my Mind

A Poem by wordman
"

lost love

"

I lye down every night

wishing I could hold you tight

as your beauty echoes softly

through my mind as my heart

you gently entwine

I feel your presence by my side

as you gently caress my mind

as we make love I feel your soft skin

as it touches mine

It was almost like a song

the orchestra gently playing

as we danced along

Then I awake with tears in my eyes

I roll over to hold you and I realize it was just a dream

as you lay gentle on my mind...

'Gentle on my Mind'
wordman,
Hey there you romantic. With our minds we can go to a place where life is beautiful. Imagination is where choices and life ignite. Your title fits and I also remember the song with the same title. You did so good with this one. Hope things are nice for you.
Blessings,
Kathy

and someday you will look with your heart
A romantic and passionate work with a sad touch..I am glad that I chose this one to read today..We all need that feeling of gentleness but seldom get it in today's world..I noticed that you visited my work and appreciate you reading and taking time to comment..Those roosters can be very bad and dangerous with those spurs..The man across the creek raises those fighting roosters and they are the ones that I hear each day..There was a rooster in my childhood also..He attacked me and ended up as the seasoning for dumplings..Sweet victory..Sara

Oh my Ron, this is so elegant and graceful and the ending is so poignant. It's so sad when loved ones are taken from us, ort that our dreams are so intense we feel them almost come true.
Sighing here with the softness and beauty of this!
