Winds of Time

Winds of Time

A Poem by wordman
"

"

The winds of time

blowing gently through my mind

telling me things long forgot

that I had placed deep into my mind

the sweet sound of your voice

the gentleness of your touch

the love that you gave

that I need so much

I long for your kiss

your sweet touch

I miss you so much

do you still love me

I know that you do

cause the winds of time

is blowing on you too...

This was a charming poem of how we bring fond moments back from the far past as if they only happened yesterday: I was inspire to rewrite your first verse in the following way which you may keep as a gift:

Recollection

Hurricanes of time
blowing through my mind
take me to sublime
memories left behind.

You're welcome! It's often better to replace a general term such a "winds" with a specific term.

better listen to the voice that lingers
That's beautiful. The sentiment of it. The particulars of that person expressed and knowing it is returned. It brings a sigh to the heart. Keep going big guy, you are on a roll...that apparently is never ending.

Great sentiment. He takes walks with me everyday. I guess he could join me for dinner. :)
I like 'the winds of time' Wind can affect a lot of people at the same time . Any reason for verse three
only having three lines?

Last stanza's great... and the words're great, totally simplicity shown from this piece about winds of the time. It was a raining outside here where i am and the cold winds're blowing outside i can feel it... fell the coldness of winds. Your this write's to the tee true as well as real too. You've known about time too i think. Great write you written and shared here in this site. you've to write more and more! Overall, i loved this write much. Your flow's great in this writing's field.
