You know who you are

You know who you are

A Poem by Joel M Frye
"

To my poetic friends, and those I have not met as yet....

"
You are all asleep now, my beloveds;
I have woken early and have read your
love, your agony, redemption, spirit
left for me before you went to bed.
Each of you at times brought me my sorrow,
each of you at times returned my laugh.
Each of you remind me joy is doubled
if it's shared, and pain is cut in half.
From my darkened den I send you respite;
from rekindled soul I bid you rest.
Would I could greet each of you tomorrow;
know that every one of you is blessed.

Yours is a positive, supportive attitude naturally fostering fraternity amongst fellow writers. Your reviews are typically kind and encouraging; apparently, when you feel you can't be either of these things, you simply move on.
This fine, heartfelt poem embodies some of the loving intentions which motivate much of what you say and do--intentions clearly emanating from a highly-evolved soul.
Thank you, Joel.

Yes what Frank said too!!!! I reread this tonight and saw a different twist a different maning behind your words. They have such enormous emotion. But like I said I agree with Frank. You always have a kind and positive word for everyone. I am glad I chose you for my friend.xoxoxo

A most uplifting poem Joel. It's the reason we hang out here, isn't it? Very well depicted of the camaraderie between otherwise unknown souls.

So true, and sweettt. if it's shared, and pain is cut in half. -so true. And yes, I do write right before I go to bed because that's when everything hits me at once. This makes my writing feel appreciated. Thank you for the uplifting write :)

Your words are gentle and embrace me from a place someone I've never met should know. There is sanctuary hidden with in your praise, comfort in your empathy and comfort in your syllables. J'adore

This one brought me to tears Bear. Yes, here we read each others thoughts, pain, joy and nightmares. We delve deep into the imaginations of our friends and those we don't know as well. Such power is in the words......a great write!
