Living in Dream

"A love lives only in dream"

Pale blue sky slowly dims by darkest night.

Through the moonlight it lights up the eternity.

As the myriad of stars glitters in my sight,

Blast of wind brings a sweet music with liberty.

 

It’s the end of the day; the night offers its beauty.

The sound of silence whispers nothing but sadness.

As I lay in bed, cold wind embraces me.

And when I close my eyes, a tear ducked with no mess.

 

Then I open my eyes, your image flashed on me.

Looking those sweet smiles, all the pains melt away

As I come closer to you, feels your warm body.

A kiss! Then you walk away without words to say.

 

Suddenly I wake up, looked at corners of room.

I ran along dark night, I see you nevermore.

And I realize again, I’ve dreamt of my groom.

Living in dream, but gone in real forevermore.

Haunting and beautiful. The Dreamscape world is something I enter and escape in very often. Fantasies about Taylor Swift have been common in recent times, for I adore her so, but I have yet to find the bride of my heart walking down an aisle in those pleasant places of the mind of sleep. I love this poem you have created, and it is well and beautifully written. Lovely and elegant language, and shows a beautiful thought has gone into its lovely creation. Very well done. Loved it. Dream is always been a good escaping place from the reality that says "No" to the things we wanted so much.. At least in dream everything seems so possible, isn't it? :-)

Perhaps those impossible dreams may become somewhat true in 'Eternity'. who knows. I am sure many of us will find the joy of Eternal life one day, and what dreams we have had in life might be portents of future possibilities. Who can really say for sure? Me - I dream often of Taylor Swift, and am desperately in love with her. But, yes - impossible in the real world. Maybe one day of eternity, though. Who knows. Hopefully I will get to more of your poetry in time. All the best. Danny
