I press play

I press play

A Poem by Rache David
"

"How does it feel when you're in love to a celebrity?"

"

I press play...

The hymn with his warm, honey voice;

As if they’re breathing in my ear,

It brings me no more than one choice--

Love him even more -- so I swear.

I press play...

The screen fits him perfectly;

Look straight -- like his eyes on mine.

When he smiles, could he still see?

Or everything just looks a -- line?

I play again...

His charming face will flash no end;

To infinite, his song playing

Pull our heart string -- fate, don’t bend,

Yea, it’s just a wishful thinking.

The song goes...

Above the sky -- he is star;

Down the earth -- I’m, merely, damsel;

Can look yet can’t touch -- he’s so far;

“I love you” -- three words, I can’t tell.

His life in the center of stage --

My life -- in reality cage;

Famed him, real him -- even don’t blend;

I will love him -- though his songs end.
