So I close my eyesA Poem by Rache David"I thought he will leave forever--but he came back"My dear -- stay with me; My vision comes to blurry. Yet I’ll be fine this way; Lest, you choose to walk away. The anguish -- I won’t bear. Thus, I close my eyes -- to shed no tear Why, still, you left me? Hearing no words, such sorry. Your gait’s tap -- rings no end; To the road of no dead end. Even so, I think you’re here, So, I close my eyes -- to shed no tear. How long should I close these? My eyes -- let the tears release; A voice cut through the dark. It’s you -- honey -- you came back. Spell’s broken, you declare -- “Open your eyes, I won’t disappear.” © 2014 Rache DavidAuthor's Note
