The Simple Way

The Simple Way

A Poem by Woody Moore

The Simple Way

By

Woody Moore

I travel through this world

Traversing many different paths

Along some there are others pushing and shoving

Toward some glorious trophy

Some paths are smaller

They offer fulfillment of lusts

Many are passing here as well

Finding only discontent, disease, and brokenness

It is the small trail barely visible

That winds through treacherous places

It is here He whispers I will lead

If you let me, to eternity and peace!

From this simple way

I see others in the mist

He whispers, tell them about Me

I will open their eyes and lead them too

It is this hard simple path

That we must find and traverse

Led by the Prince of Peace

To the promised day and joyous rest!
