Dismentaled

Dismentaled

A Poem by hanselwheresgretel?
"

For the weary

"
My brain is tired
Tired of holding up this weary body

Listening to this
Endless zing of the spinning coil

Playing in the background
Pressed against time for a break

--

My body is tired
Tired of arresting this demanding soul

Two sides of the bars
In this eternal cell of self sentences

Scheming incessantly
How to plan and foil my own escapes

--

My soul is tired
Tired of questioning vague dreams

Ifs and whys
cynical, cyclical chase of meanings

An unending existence
Questioning
