Sigismund

Sigismund

A Poem by hanselwheresgretel?
"

That oh so familiar internal struggle.

"
He feels the dreaded waning.
The magic of curiosity
finally full and satiated.
Yet its promiscuous eyes
hungers after another.

"no. don't crawl away
child. this is good.
this is safe. stay.
build. if you just stayed."

--

My wrists bleeds at the
vice grip of two greeds.

--

"I must i want i want
i want to have it all
all the comfort and good
and i will take and take"

Take. Why won't he listen
its there its good and
he wants it anyways.
Self-denying, self-righteous.
hypocrite.
