Wild

Wild

A Chapter by Wondering Mind
"

and not angelic, for sure..I failed the test

"

untamed

not even by gravity
or the worst
of fate

though

the body wanes
and may soon wilt

the heart and mind
are in the spirit

untamed

Considering the body of your work, the many--often,quirky--areas of interest and your rather unique viewpoints, "Wild"--as a personal assessment--need not even have been written. After reading the poem, however, I'm truly elated that it was.
Quite possibly, you are therein specifically referring to something about yourself of which I am unaware, Still, I will stand by my statements regarding your obvious poetic vitality--as well as the great worth of this noble and courageous piece.

this sounds like a sentiment coming from jim morrison...going through the doors of perception and freeing your mind. this is what some people aspire to.

indeed, great meaningful words. as we grow old our physical body comes along but our spirit/soul well still remain untamed. well done my friend.

it makes perfect sense that the heart and mind are in the spirit,
untamed indeed, this poem reminds me of wild horses running open
plain, a magically written and insightfully sculpted poetic teardrop
