As I Often Have

As I Often Have

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

I've often imagined

or tried to

IMAGINE

your voice

It must feel like silk

on worn-out finger-tips

and taste like honey

to bitterness

on a tongue

I read an Onyx stone

vein-cut

when I read you

and

IMAGINE

my naked soul

playful

meandering

childishly

along the contours

of you

as

I've often imagined

that is amazing really. it is so simple and so strong as meanings as well. but why do you put as a chapter while it is a poem?

Very nice indeed ! Your note makes it all the more delicious ! Pray tell.. the part of the onyx makes me curious...are you into gemology ?

oh yes ...... yes. how we cling to our personal interpretation of the sense of another ~ silken voice through velvet words, surely.

your mind wanders in the most galvanating venues. such a delightful excursion. x

the ghost of a lifetime, it may be good or bad depending on the situation.
some people imagine in a state of tension or gloominess in order to calm themselves. it is accepted as the innate ability and process of inventing partial or complete personal realms of desire within the mind from elements derived from sense perceptions of the shared world of poetry, loved this ^_^

Ahh I have had this thought myself. Then one day was lucky enough to hear my friends voice on the phone. It is amazing to hear the sound of someone's voice for the first time.

That is my favorite line. Beautifully composed and cleverly structured. The image pops clearly into the readers' minds. Flawless.
