A reader

A reader

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

She

dances before me

in

lush, verdant verse,

and

fertile form

luring lexicon

that draws me deeper.

my ink yearning to

trace her

tango-words.

a sigh,

I smile,

and remember.

I am only a reader.

it is easy to be seduced by verse and lexicon, at least for me. it is also an interesting that verse and lexicon describe her. it's like 'poetry in motion.' she isvery inspiring like a muse to the reader. great imagery.

lush and green . . . there's no such things as 'only' a reader, I guess

I almost turned my knife on her but I think that's the NoSoul Writers' plan. I will not be fooled. they will not have us turn on each other. But I will have to spank that bare butt.

Honestly, I don't care who you're writing about here WM...because this was just a refreshing effervescent piece. Loved reading it!

(lol...watch out...looks like a cat fight with swords is coming up from Hadaka and Haruki) ;)

I'm sorry, Sunshine. I'm pretty sure he's writing about me.

It's about time you wrote about my hold on you... *wink*
Seriously, my friend, what silk spools of thought you wrapped around this page to describe what we all feel when you allow our eyes to sashay across a page. What a dance of words indeed. But the vaguery (yes made that word up) makes me float to a more symbolic meaning regarding relationships. And so the cycle of you blowing my mind begins....

Intriguing and somehow teasing - you draw the reader along with you in the swirls of your words - to me this spoke of that moment when you're reading and you forget it's a book in your hands. Beautifully written.
