A Chapter by Wondering Mind

Eyes see

the grandeur of lions

the strength of bulls

the speed of cheetahs

the beauty of flamencos

have you seen an ant give in?

Straddling the back

of the majestic lion

I look and bow

to the spirit

of the ant

. so true ... never seen a depressed or suicidal ant ... :P ... and never want to either ... it'll be the end of the world when that happens ... i join you in this poetic and majestic boy ... (i didn't know you were straddling the back of a lion - never noticed it until now) ...

Next time you're found, with your chin on the ground
There a lot to be learned, so look around

Just what makes that little old ant
Think he'll move that rubber tree plant
Anyone knows an ant, can't
Move a rubber tree plant

But he's got high hopes, he's got high hopes
He's got high apple pie, in the sky hopes

So any time you're gettin' low
'stead of lettin' go
Just remember that ant
Oops there goes another rubber tree plant

No doubt, they hurt when they bit too. I sat on a bed of them once. I had to go to the emergency room. Very inspirational poem.

*Applause* Reminds me of the Proverbial example of the ant:
"Go to the ant, you lazy one, see its ways and become wise. Although it has no commander, officer or ruler, it prepares its food even in the summer; it has gathered its food supplies even in the harvest."
It truly does not tire out, and is a superb example for us to follow. Bravo.
