Maybe

Maybe

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

Maybe the labors of this night

give birth to a smiling day

I’ll feed patience with hope

silently sit,

caressing curious consciousness

with wondering waking dreams

that

maybe tomorrow

is

a new day

a 'thinking' poem, I think!

Birth in the form of tomorrow! This is so beautiful yet so simple. I absolutely love this poem! It speaks for itself; it's beautiful!

Sweet and very poignant! Pessimism to optimism expressed very well! Good job here, Wondering Mind!

- i'd applaud the alliteration - but there's so much more to applaud - and yes - i agree with serah - tomorrow is - always - a brand new day - and there's no telling - better or worse - but new - yes - we can be sure of that!

Yes, yes... maybe it is... or maybe it's groundhogs day... Let's hope it's not the latter. Well said, sir.
