We who are about to write

Wait, that’s not right

 

Yes, you’re right, it’s not “right”, it’s “write”

 

Oh! Lord

No, I mean it was;

“we who are about to DIE salute you”

 

 

Yes,

but things have changed

and Empires fell

and values evolved

and things just changed

 

then when we read

that concepts of “Right”

were found in writes

 

the ruling class replaced 

die with write

so that 

man wishes to write no more

 

and now poets 

come to the arena

and hail their destiny 

with the new hail

 

 

We who are about to write salute you

Well, now that I've read it, it's more on the crazier of the crazies

That is why we write. The world would not be able to handle the insanity that brews in our mind if we just blurted it out. So we "right" our thoughts in the comfort of other crazies who change with the wind as well. Loved this.... because I'm crazy.
