Little Moments

Little Moments

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

Some day

when winters wear out my springs

and these little moments

are framed

lined above my fading fire

I’ll  sit and remember,

my heart warmed

will sing.

well if English isn't your native language you sure did a heck of a job with it.
Indeed you will sit and remember, your heart warmed will sing.
Thats a powerful little piece

Ed leaves all the best reviews. I wish I could say it as well. This is such a refreshing poem. One that I will be glad to visit again and again.

some day
when the summer of your memories
lilts in the snow of your absence
there will be enough warmth
to keep my cold bones
going.

wow - this is such a stark, serene, lonely, yet hopeful image - a life well lived perhaps, or maybe losses too grave in retrospect - a preserved warmth, nonetheless - and a story - too intense - to be fathomed - unless on a night of absolute silence - and unspoilt peace!
