ImaginationA Chapter by Wondering Mind
The mind's eye casts an imagined scene
Trillions of thoughts flash on a spherical screen
With no effort or motion Time obeys mind’s will
Vast space is traversed though the body keeps still
Sensations so real; sound, colour and scents
A wishful mind wills what reality prevents
Dreams are drawn, whether awake or asleep,
On imagination’s canvas from knowledge’s deep
Thoughts and emotions in a spiral dance,
Embraced, they glide as if in a trance.
Does the mind expire when a mortal heart dies?
And does reality cease if one closes the eyes?
