Dawn

Dawn

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

The sky’s naked beauty
A mind beholds in awe
As lover Sun rises high to
Glisten dawn’s virgin dew

Tones of transformations
Tempting night into day
Sun slowly slides in sky
Climaxing colorful foreplay

Inside the beholder’s mind
Shadows dance with the rays
While space indifferent hues
Rejoice in their wild displays

Such beauty in the rebirth
Of life’s expression in light
After moon's secret promises
and stars sparkling bright

I love the play on words in this poem. The rising and setting sun are quite spectacular to behold. In life we have to take time out to enjoy the small things and the wonder of nature. I wish I was watching the sun rise and set with you on this day for you have painted a glorious picture.

the hell!!! i really love this poem, hahahahah, i love the dawn most, when you can't still clearly see the view but, you could feel no danger to breathe even when the air is polluted hahaahha, I do not mean to say that the air here is polluted, but its fresher

What I enjoy most of all, is catching the sun at day break reflecting on the ocean before it's visible in the sky. I want to transfer the vision on canvas some day.

It is rewarding to see how a poet can transform something often ignored because we see it everyday and turn it into a magical, emotional work of art. I certainly appreciate your intimate reflection on one of many earthly canvases we are so blessed to experience daily. Nice work~

I will never look at a sunrise my way again. beautiful poem, emotions for magic, God's paint brush is awesome. I'm glad English is your second language, if not, your words would go over my head. English is my second language also, I wish I could write half as good. Great piece, thank you for sharing.
God Bless
Anita
