The Pilgrim

The Pilgrim

A Chapter by Wondering Mind
"

To my soulmate.

"

No angel,

yet bliss I found

in your loving embrace.

In you, my dreams came true.

With you, Love was born and life has grace.

For you I will be forever and always

the pilgrim bound to your time and space.

This is a great truth. Love is not simply a state which happens then remains. It is a pilgrimage that we travel along adapting, considering, making allowances. Relationship adapts as life moves along a road. it is never still; it is therefore 'a pilgrimage for two'. You highlight profound thoughts.

This is touching and depthfully inducing, the analogy is graceful and sets the mind to ponder,
I find myself drifting through the emotion, sincere and written in essence, beautifully done.

One of the shortest love poems I have ever read. Must say you said a lot with just a few words. Nice Write.
