Majestic

Majestic

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

Majestic is your love to me;
A Queen, you conquered my heart.
With all my will I surrendered
                    And vowed we’ll never part

You outshined the little stars
                      Brighter than a royal moon
And dominated my skies
Like the desert sun at noon

Loyal is your noble heart
To no other did it sway
And only to my tides
Have your shores been a bay

Your love roots deep within
                      Patient like a date-palm tree
And in your Garden of Eden
                     My soul rejoices free

"Loyal is your noble heart/To no other did it sway/And only to my tides/ Have your shores been a bay"

These lines really stook out to me. They're so truthful and show how much the other person cares for you in order not to "sway" as you said. Because now-a-days, it seems that most people don't really care for 'love' anymore, they just want marriage or a relationship.

Great piece!
