Moments in Time ( We Are)

Moments in Time ( We Are)

A Chapter by Wondering Mind
"

An Etheree- Inspired by the song " Dust in The Wind"- Kansas

"

dreams,
a thought,
emotions,
a passing whim,
someone's memory,
body, mind, and spirit.
creations of The Artist's Hand
a small drop in life's deep ocean
a grain of sand in vast desert land
and sadly we are mere moments in time

this is wondeful... I've never seen this form before. I might use it.
"a small drop in life's deep ocean
a grain of sand in vast desert land
and sadly we are mere moments in time"

wise words....

we -
moments
strewn around
stranded midway
between this and that
coursing the here and now
floating to random frontiers
gathering scarred collectibles
building shrines for the unclaimed losses
fitting like gloves in mere moments in time.

wow - i love the form - i love the song - i love this poem!!! - astounding craftsmanship!!!

Nice Etheree expressing the insignificance of mankind compared to the vastness of creation (and Creator).

I like this poem and the way you wrote it to to descend with each line.

but without all those grains of sand, there would be no desert. alas, it is lonely still, to be a single grain.

very poignant piece, i like it :)
