synesthesia (noun): a sensation produced in one modality when a stimulus is applied to another modality, as when the hearing of a certain sound induces the visualization of a certain color.

So, I've been meaning to ask

What color was your day?

Was the morning orange or pink?

Did your coffee taste purple, grey?

Did the bagel shop down the street

Go from mauve to butterscotch to silver sleet?

This made me think of synesthesia,where certain senses are combined or altered so sounds have colors or tastes have shapes. It's a colorful *wink* read.
I would say my day was blue-green-serene fringed with warm tones around the edges.
