Space Girl

Space Girl

A Poem by Pepper
"

About girls made of stardust and hypotheticals

"
s the cosmos
She is everything, all encompassing
Everyone is wrapped up in her so tightly
They couldn’t escape if they wanted to.
They don’t want to.
Her smile is the sun
Breathtaking, life-giving
I can’t look at her when she smiles like that.
Her eyes are comets
Sparkling
Travelling
Darting across rooms to look at her friends
Her hair
Me.
Her hair is the moonlight
Soft in appearance
But the true texture is a mystery
known in legends and myths alone.
Her cheeks are the red dwarves
And she powders them with stardust.
Her laugh is the sound of galaxies
And her voice is the rings of Saturn.
Her tears are nebulas
And her personality is every constellation at once.
But most of all
Her love is the Big Bang,
Commonly believed but
At the end of the day
Only a theory, a hypothetical,
Unknown.
