another extract from ice blue

"

"you think you know me? behind my human smile are the fangs of a beast...im not like you...im a monster." i tried to move back, but i felt the cliff edge on my heels. he took a step forward, arms open as if he thought i would fall, but i lifted up my hand to stop him. i could feel myself shifting, and i knew if he was too close, i would hurt him. my legs started to shake, and my hands balled up into fists to try and calm myself. my nails dug into my flesh, and i knew i wouldnt be able to stop now. the emotions were too strong, too uncontrollable. i threw my hoodie off, the moon lighting up my alabaster skin, and i took a step forward with my foot. it came down to the ground as a paw.

Quiet full of thrill. Suspense & climax. Nice imagery.
