Sweet Simplicity (Born to Die)

Sweet Simplicity (Born to Die)

A Poem by Lunar Pup

Sweet simplicity

There is no point

Trying can only get you so far

We all die

So why even try?

Sweet simplicity

Just give up

Life has no meaning

Thats just a lie

But dont cry

Sweet simplicity

People don't care

And never will

Just a false smile

To keep you there for awhile

Sweet simplicity

Whay am I the only one who can see

Everything is meaningless

Why have hope

Just to cope?

Sweet simplicity

Your gods are just a safety net

False hope

But as you look up at the sky

And begin to ask why...

Don't fret precious

We were all born to die.

Sweet simplicity... Just to feel even closer to the end every day... It's a hell...
I can relate to this... sadly?
It's hard to put it this way even when you know it's true... sometimes I just want to pretend this more than just a simple trip... nice poem... I really liked it!

Ah good 2 see another nihilist on this site, yet u look at this epiphany with dread. the truth free's u from societies pretentious b.s and frees you 2 think 4 urself, it destroys the decadent and outdated ideals of religion and and philosophy and invites you 2 make ur own, and realizing tht life is meaningless should becon u 2 create meaning in ur life. good nice rhymes good meter I liked it alot
