Wolf Heart

Wolf Heart

A Poem by Lunar Pup

The midnight air cradels its mistress

The beautiful women cursed by the full moons light

A cursing and a bless truely

This beautiful night.

She stares up into the dark sky

The full moon kisses her pale skin

The mistress a child of the night

Her transformation slowely begins.

Her bones crack

The call of nature echos through her heart

The most beautiful of creatures

This is just the start.

Her howl kisses the wind

Her cold cry pierces the night

The mistress of the wild

Lets her heart take flight.

You really caught me with the last stanza, in that I can feel the call my self and it's most enchanting, frightening and right. It's a great poem, capturing a free spirit quite well without actually shackling it. The second line seems a bit out of place though.
