Hope

my hopes were once again proven false...

I saw hope for a moment...

Maybe you have haven't let go of me...

Maybe you'll stay in my life...

It seems as if all my hopes were pointless...

All I wanted was an older brother to protect me...

To approve of me...

Not leave me alone with no where to go...

All my life I've tried to become like you...

That's the only way I've ever known...

But I don't want to hurt anyone like you've hurt me...

No one deserves how you made me feel...

Not the countless nights crying over you...

Not the pain I feel when I see your face...

It's not fair...

I had a brief moment of hope...

And it faded away to soon.

The poem is about my older brother... its not perfect but it has meaning....
