Kiss of death (Rain)

Kiss of death (Rain)

A Poem by Lunar Pup

Kiss of Death

(Rain)

I lay in the rain

waiting for you to come and save me from my nightmare past

all my hopes and dreams vanished into the haven,

which resides far from my heart

The rain drips down my face mixed with the tears of my past

Your not here to save me...Why?

Why must I wait to be saved?

Violent screams...

Cold concrete...

slaps across the face...

How will we ever survive?

The rain reveals my dark past

and puts me in my place

far from my haven...

far from my home...

I have no where to go

I wait for you...

But will you ever be here again?

I wait for your kiss of death

To end all of my misery...

To put me out of my pain...

And to end this thing we call life.

I lie here in the rain

And wait for you

to give me the kiss of death.
