I've never liked love much

I've never liked love much

A Poem by wolfshrew

I've never liked love because its for weak people.
It's for people who must attach themselves; sewn
closely to another who is equally as hopeless on their own.
Nothing appealed to me less than holding someone's
hand for the rest of my life, sharing my bed,
being someone's prized wife.

I've never liked love much because lovers get jealous.
Those ones that scream, or cry, or throw the entire
kitchen out the door after a fight over a hypothetical
sexual attraction to some nonexistent person.

I've never liked love much because
I don't like to share and what I feel is none of your business.

I've never liked love much,
I've really never wanted it much,
but I feel weak and I want to hold your hand.

I'm glad that you came to the realization at the end, I was afraid you'd never see sense! haha!

No but honestly, this topic is great, the phrasing of "I've never liked love much" is really worth exploring and you did it well.
